Borderline

'Borderline' IS a gripping drama following two detectives navigating the challenges of working together at the Irish border.
This latest SHINAWIL series was with Further South Productions in association with Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and Lionsgate Television.
Lionsgate are distributing the series internationally. Premiering first in in Ireland and the U.K., “Borderline” will premiere on MGM+ on Sept. 2. Shortly followed by Roku in the USA and ZDF Studios in Germany.

Clean Sweep

Shelly Mohan is super mom. Her secret power? Multitasking. She juggles the complex lives and schedules of three kids, ages 10, 11 and 15, and somehow manages to have a home-cooked meal on the table by the time her husband, a Garda detective, arrives home every night. It’s chaotic and hectic and mostly thankless but it is a life Shelly is happy with – because it is a life she has chosen – in fact it’s one she’s created. But all of this is threatened when Shelly is confronted by her past.
Clean Sweep is a family crime series told from the point-of-view of a killer who has spent nearly twenty years hiding in plain sight, living a secret life as a wife, mother and homemaker.

The Miracle Club

The Miracle Club is the story of a group of working class Dublin housewives in 1968, who win a trip to Lourdes and leave their husbands behind to care for their children. Having never even left Dublin – let alone Ireland – the journey provides our heroines the chance to let their hair down, celebrate life and delight in some sweet independence. As they confront one another and embrace their past, these women realise that the miracle they have all been looking for is right in front of them: in the strength of their friendships and unshakeable togetherness.

The Catch

Set against the hauntingly beautiful coastline of the west of England, The Catch introduces us to Ed Collier, a proud husband, father and local fisherman determined to do whatever it takes to keep his family together. But when a rich, handsome younger man enters daughter, Abbie’s, life and threatens to take her away from him, Ed finds his life spiralling out of control. Secrets and lies are exposed with every twist and turn but will Ed discover the truth about his daughter’s new boyfriend before it’s too late?

Maryland

ShinAwiL provided production services for this monumental production for ITV.

Maryland introduces us to Becca, and her sister, Rosaline, who have forged ahead with family lives and careers, growing distant through time and circumstance. But when the body of an older woman is discovered at sunrise on Laxey Beach in the Isle of Man, it brings devastating news for the sisters. Each sister flies out to the Isle of Man to discover and repatriate the body of their mother, Mary, who they learn has been living a double life, leaving their father Richard at home in Manchester, whilst creating another world for herself…Maryland. Confined on the island with each other, the sisters can’t escape the ripple effect of their mother’s secrets and lies.

Cry From The Sea; Ireland, 1924. Seamus Og Mcgrinna (Cooper) is a lighthouse keeper whose elaborate rituals keep him at a distance from the outside world as he awaits the fabled Each-Uisce to take him. His carefully constructed prison is blown open by three people who change the course of his life: the American war widow (Gadon) whose quest for closure ignites something in him; the housekeeper (Bolger) who fiercely protects him ; and the hard-line priest, (Quinn) who starts a battle of wills with a man who has nothing to lose.

Miss Scarlet And The Duke follows the fortunes of Eliza Scarlet (Kate Phillips) who, after her father dies, is left penniless in a time where marriage is her only option for financial security. But the headstrong Eliza is determined to find another way and, luckily, she has an ace up her bonnet – her father’s business, a private detective agency. Eliza knows all the tricks of the trade but as a genteel 19th century lady she’s never been allowed to put them into practice. To operate in this man’s world, she needs a male partner. Step forward Detective Inspector William Wellington (Stuart Martin) of Scotland Yard, who is also known as The Duke: he’s a drinker, gambler and womaniser. Eliza and The Duke strike up a mismatched, fiery relationship with an underlying sexual tension as they team up to solve crime in the murkiest depths of 1880’s London.

The Cured

The Cured is a 2017 Irish horror drama film written and directed by David Freyne in his feature debut film. It stars Elliott Page, Sam Keeley, and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, and was screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. After years of a zombie plague that ravaged Europe, humanity grapples with how to reintegrate the former zombies into society. A disease that turns people into zombies has been cured. The once-infected zombies are discriminated against by society and their own families, which causes social issues to arise. Theatrically released in 2018
